Mabel will be starring in the upcoming Hulu, MGM TV series, THE TESTAMENTS, opposite Ann Dowd, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit show, THE HANDMAID’S TALE.
You can also see her in the SBS mini-series, SAFE HOME, for which she received a Silver Logie Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress and HE HAD IT COMING on Stan.
Mabel is a 2019 NIDA graduate from the BFA Acting course. She made her television debut in two SBS shows, NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN, and 2021 AACTA award winning web series, THE TAILINGS. She was nominated for a Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Supporting Actress and won an Asian Academy award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Goalpost Pictures’ NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN. More recently she appeared in Lingo Pictures’ EROTIC STORIES, also for SBS, and the second series of BAY OF FIRES for the ABC. Their work in film also includes art installation Trechikoff’s Chinese Girl.
In theatre she made her debut at Belvoir St Theatre in Michelle Law’s MISS PEONY, originating the role of Sabrina. Her other theatre credits include NEVER CLOSER (dir. Hannah Goodwin) with Belvoir, originating the role of Niamh, Nina in THE SEAGULL (dir. Imara Savage) with Sydney Theatre Company and most recently COST OF LIVING (dir. Anthea Williams) with Melbourne Theatre Company.
Mabel was a 2021 finalist for the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship, the recipient of the 2019/2020 BBM Youth Award Scholarship for Drama and a recipient of the CGA Rising Star
Award for 2022.
