Maddy Lee is an Asian Australian actor and theatre maker, based in Melbourne. Having graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Performing Arts: Performance Making degree, she is skilled in acting, devising, writing and physical theatre. In 2019, she was selected to go on study tour and train in Singapore at the Intercultural Theatre Institute. Her latest creative projects include performing in Nirvana as part of Banksia Festival at La Mama in December 2021 and participating in Frenzy Theatre Co’s Creative Development for their new work Piper 2022. Most recently, Maddy has just finished working on a play reading for a new script she is currently developing called Underdog which was programmed at Solstice Emerging Writers Festival 2022. As an artist, Maddy is interested in creating evocative, bold new works, with a lot of humour and heart.
